Nothing

Nothing approached us to bring the Phone 3(a) Community Edition to life through 2D animation, and we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting brief. Because the entire product and campaign were co-created with the Nothing community, we wanted the film to reflect that same sense of openness, play, and shared creation. The design direction pulled us straight into the warm glow of 90s digital nostalgia. The era of pixel windows, chunky toolbars and cursors with attitude. It became the perfect playground to push our UI animation work. Every click, swipe, and pointer movement was crafted with personality, turning simple interactions into tiny moments of charm. The final piece is a playful homage to the early internet, reimagined through the clean, modern lens of Nothing.
