New Balance

A personal project to flex our 3D muscles, this film is a dynamic product showcase built around the beautifully crafted, patchwork New Balance 237. Taking the stitched, handmade quality of the shoe as our starting point, a workshop environment felt like the perfect setting. Somewhere tactile, practical, and rooted in the craft of shoemaking. We dressed the space with thread spools, sketches, fabric scraps, and other maker’s tools to ground the film in a believable reality before pushing things into the abstract. As the piece unfolds, the workshop dissolves into a more expressive visual world, allowing us to highlight the intricate textures, colours, and unique patchwork details that make the 237 so distinctive. The end result is a blend of realism and imagination: a celebration of both the artistry behind the shoe and the possibilities of 3D design.
